This conference, held under the auspices of the EUROMECH Society, is the third in the new series of conferences EFDC (European Fluid Dynamics Conference). This new series corresponds to the merger of the old conferences EFMC (European Fluid Mechanics Conference) and ETC (European Turbulence Conference).

EFDC1 conference took place in Aachen in September 2024. The EFDC2 conference took place in Dublin in August 2025, and subsequent versions will take place every odd year.
