The EUROMECH Solid Mechanics Prize 2018 is awarded to Erik van der Giessen (University of Groningen, The Netherlands)

The Fluids Prize and the fellowships will be awarded in a special award session of the 12th European Fluid Mechanics Conference, to be held 9-13 September 2018 in Wien (Austria). At this occasion, the Prize recipient will deliver the Fluid Mechanics Prize Lecture.
The Solids Prize and the fellowships will be awarded in a special award session of the 10th European Solid Mechanics Conference, to be held 2-6 July 2018 in Bologna (Italy). At this occasion, the Prize recipient will deliver the Solid Mechanics Prize Lecture.
