Yves Couder (1941-2019) had a overwhelming scientific impact in many scientific fields such as turbulence, dendritic growth, the Saffman-Taylor instability, the biomechanics of plant morphogenesis and walking droplets, as well as in many other areas of nonlinear physics ranging from biological self-organization to urban development. This conference aims to bring together scientists working in these fields who have been inspired by the man and/or his work, and to highlight and discuss new avenues of research in nonlinear sciences.
