The EUROMECH Colloquium, themed “Addressing Challenges in Applied Mechanics through Artificial Intelligence Applications,” will take place from August 27-29, 2025, in Belgrade, Serbia. This event will explore the integration of traditional applied mechanics and AI methodologies to tackle contemporary challenges and advance the field. Key topics include optimizing mechanical systems with AI, energy harvesting and conversion, AI applications for material characterization, design, structural health monitoring and damage detection, as well as vibration analysis and wavelet transformation. The colloquium offers a unique platform for European scientists and engineers to exchange ideas, share research, and foster collaborations, driving progress and innovation in applied mechanics.
The colloquium will cover different topics:
1. Optimization of mechanical systems with AI
2. Energy Harvesting and Conversion
3. AI Applications for Material Characterization, Design, Structural health monitoring and Damage detection
4. AI Applications for Vibration Analysis and Wavelet Transform
This colloquium will take place in Belgrade, with exact venue to be announced soon. This colloquium will be in-person. Keynote speakers from applied mechanics through artificial intelligence applications will be announced.
